RSV (Real
Sensorless Vector)
A700 stores a ‘map’ with the key
motor characteristics in its memory and calculates the voltage
needed to produce the necessary shaft torque and an output
frequency which will keep the magnetizing flux and torque
producing flux at right angles to each other – this is crucial
to emulating DC drive/motor performance. RSV’s secret lies in
new ‘Magnetic Flux Observer’ firmware that calculates the
magnetic saturation level of the motor and further ‘trims’ the
output voltage to compensate for it; by avoiding motor ‘over-fluxing’,
a wider speed range and smoother low speed operation of the
motor than ever before is ensured. |

Wide Speed
Range
High accuracy/fast response speed
operation by the vector control can be performed with a general-purpose
motor without encoder.
• Maximum of 200% high torque can be generated at an ultra
low speed of 0.3Hz (0.4K to 3.7K).
• Torque control operation can be performed also. (Torque
control range 1:20, absolute torque accuracy +_20%, repeated
torqueaccuracy +_10%)
Speed control range 1:200
(0.3Hz to 60Hz driving only)
Speed response 120rad/s |

PLC Feature
A700 programmability provides true
intelligence inside the drive – a simple solution for complex
applications. |

Long life
Ccomponents and Life Check function
The life of a newly developed
cooling fan has been extended to 10 years of design life. The
life of the cooling fan is further extended with ON/OFF control
of the cooling fan. Longevity of capacitor was achieved with the
adoption of a design life of 10 years.

Fast Response
300 rads/sec response time means
lightning fast response to sudden load changes.
 |
 |
Easy Gain
Tuning
A700 uses servo-drive technology
to compensate automatically for changes in load inertia. |

RS-485 and USB
Connection
The RS-485 terminals are equipped
as standard in addition to the PU connector. You can make RS-485
communication with the operation panel or parameter unit
connected to the PU connector. As a USB connector (USB1.1B
connector) is standard equipped, communication with a personnel
computer can be made with a USB cable only.

Power-Down
Braking
Keeps the motor under control even
if supply power is lost. The motor can be decelerated to a stop
when a power failure or undervoltage occurred to prevent the
motor from coasting. For fail-safe of machine tool, etc., it is
effective to stop the motor when a power failure has occurred.
