Network
Overview
Whether you’re manufacturing
stand-alone machines, or you’re automating a whole production
line, a network of some kind is usually an essential feature of
a control scheme. Your requirements may be to place I/O where it
is needed on your machine, or maybe to network multiple
controllers in manufacturing cells to an enterprise wide
information system. The AnSH system offers just such a broad
network capability. We also understand that some customers look
for the security and efficiency of a single vendor solution,
while others wish to broaden their options. Whichever approach
appeals to you, Mitsubishi has a range of network solutions
which offer benefits to your application.

Multiple
program environment
The QnAS(H) executes up to 60
programs simultaneously, in up to 4 different ways. The CPUs are
specifically designed to increase programming productivity while
decreasing development time by offering the following benefits:
-
Programs can be split into
modules controlling specific machine/line functions,
eliminating the complexity of writing, debugging and
maintaining a single large-scale program.
-
Program modules can be reused
on future projects with similar functions, decreasing
development time.
-
Allows program coding to be
split between multiple programmers, speeding up development.
-
Smaller programs can be
debugged faster.
-
Decreased downtime due to
easier analysis of shorter programs.
-
Multiple access to the program
memory; several technicians can work on different programs
simultaneously.
|
 |
Maximized
CPU efficiency through support for four program types
-
Initial;
Execute initialization routines once only, then remove from
program scan.
-
Scan; regular program
execution.
-
Low speed; non critical tasks
executed in remaining scan time as available.
-
Wait; executed only when
required, again removing periodic tasks from program scan.
|
 |
Macro instruction allows
program modules to be called by other programs |
 |
Tag database style programming
allows a program to be written without needing to know actual
I/O assignments initially |
 |
Subroutines with arguments |
 |
Extremely fast execution speed
(75 nanosecond basic step execution time) |
 |
Global
& local devices for multiple program support |
